How?
Starting with the rope behind you, pull it up and over your head. As the rope passes over your head, use your arms to guide the rope down to your feet. As the rope approaches your feet, raise your toes slightly off the floor, allowing the centre of the rope to catch underneath your toes.
Why?
The toe catch is one of the most useful skills you can utilise when learning more new skills. It enables you to check your form in crosses, and judge that the rope's path is straight as it travels around you.
