Swings

Swings are a type of skill where the jumper puts both hands on one side of their body and the rope passes their feet. Swings can be used to transition between skills.


 

Coach Chris’s Top Tips

✅ Keep your hands low by your hips
✅ Keep the rope travelling vertical and close to your side
✅ Make sure your restricted hand is fully past your back or under your leg
‼️ Avoid lifting your arms up over your face
‼️ Avoid pulling the rope diagonally across you
